My name is Metha Leanne (Whistler) Todd and I am the sole author of this site. I’ve been married to the most wonderful man in the universe for over 30 years and we have three, now adult, children in a small Texas town. I work as a nurse aide (CNA) in health care, which I consider to be more of a hands-on ministry than a “job.” I was saved at the age of 14. I wish I could rightly report here that after that point everything was perfect, I was perfect, my faith was perfect, and life was a peachy keen ride with no doubts, no turmoil, and no disobedience to God. But it wasn’t. And isn’t. I am still that wretched sinner who walked down the aisle in a tiny church in Emhouse, Texas in the summer of 1984. I still struggle. I am still deeply flawed. But…because of Jesus, I have hope. And so can you. I write poetry and prose to reflect that hope in this website, published freely here for your edification and sustained faith. I pray you read my works and feel less alone in your own challenges. I long for your to see two things: the unyielding truth, yet amazing grace, of Jesus Christ.
